WHAT IS COMIC PRESSING & CLEANING?

Comic book Pressing is the process that can enhance the appearance of a comic book by removing non-color breaking defects such as dents, bends, crunches, rippling, warping, spine rolls and indentations using a heated press and added humidification for the more severe degrees of damage. Please note that color breaking spine tics, tears and creasing are not repairable, although their appearance will be improved.

Cleaning removes dirt and surface staining. Makes whites bright and colors vibrant again. Water stains, ink or color rub and foxing cannot be removed/repaired.

Restoration or removal of restoration is not provided.

If you are sending books for pressing, I ask that you package them very well with foam wrap or bubble wrap in an appropriate sized box with plenty of packing material.

Purchasing additional Shipping Insurance for the full value of your submission is RECOMMENDED when shipping books back to you (if total value of books is greater than $50). I am not responsible for lost packages or damage caused in transit by the shipping service.

No Payment upfront. Once your submission is received, I will inspect all books and send a PayPal invoice before any pressing begins.
